ISO 27001 is a global standard mandating control for establishing, maintaining, and certifying of an information security management system (ISMS). Gomocha’s ISMS is designed to cover all areas of a complete information security program and to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer information and data.
Gomocha was assessed by an independent certification body, Prescient Security, to achieve ISO 27001 certification. Gomocha received the certification upon its first ISO attempt, demonstrating the safety of its information security program. To achieve certification, organizations must meet standards, including requirements for documentation, management responsibility, internal audits, continual improvement, and corrective and preventative action.
