Webfleet partners with Muses to offer integrated telematics solutions

Webfleet enables Muses to monitor fleet health and schedule predictive maintenance, while Muses’ customers have access to the full Webfleet suite to optimise fleet efficiency and reduce cost.

Webfleet has partnered with Muses, a new eOEM, based near Paris, that produces a range of electric vehicles designed to transport goods in urban areas.

All Muses eLCVs will be equipped with Webfleet and will have immediate access to fleet management services, including the monitoring of fleet health and preventive maintenance scheduling.

The full suite of Webfleet services for electric vehicles will be available to end customers upon request. This will allow real-time monitoring of battery level, consumption, recovered energy, remaining drive range and charging time.

Muses is the only industrialised light truck designed with in wheel motor technology. With higher load volume on a more compact wheelbase, it’s ideal for last mile delivery. The innovative platform design improves its power efficiency, increasing range while reducing the cost of battery charging.

Webfleet is long established as a flexible telematics player that anticipates future market developments and empowers fleets to deal with their biggest challenges and get their work done,” said Damien Biro, CEO Muses/Muses Europe. “That makes it a perfect partner for Muses.”

Taco van der Leij, Vice President Webfleet Europe, added: “We are delighted to partner with Muses to offer fleets this integrated telematics solution.

“Partnerships like this give end-users valuable connectivity that helps them optimise fleet efficiency and reduce cost. That’s one of the reasons why we believe such partnerships are key to the future of mobility.”

Webfleet and Muses will present together at the Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l’auto, Paris) from 17 to 23 October in Hall 3. Muses vehicles with integrated Webfleet are now available in France.
